So, uh... Someone told me that it's October.. and I've been avoiding this blog for almost a year now... Well, I've been busy. Chasing vampires in Greece to Russia back the other way to Italy hasn't been easy...

You're not going to buy that, are you? Okay, fine. I'll work on the blog. Starting November 1st, how's that?

MOVIES: Are vampires getting old? IGN explores Perfect Creature and the myth within.

MOVIES: Dracula Year Zero, to be directed by Alex Proyas, will explore a bit of the vampire legend.

OTHER: I stumbled across this speech by Joss Whedon when looking for vamp news. As a feminist, it's important to me that females are portrayed as strong and passionate, and he does a very good job writing them. He explains some of that here.

MOVIES: Perfect Creature DVD review from Shock 'Til You Drop.

COMICS: Biting Back is a Marvel story that's part of "Legion of Monsters," and includes Dracula and Lilith.

NEWS: This is just sad. A man beats a peacock, saying it was a vampire.

MOVIES: Vampire Diary is about a teen filming her vampire-like goth friends, and gets caught up in the action.

TELEVISION: Blade: House of Chthon isn't direct to video, rather it's the director's cut of the Blade television show's pilot.

TELEVISION: Moonlight is getting some changes, but they sound better in the long run.

MUSIC: Buffy the Musical is "touring" the US. This isn't more than what we've done really, except someone wanted to make money off this.
